PGE 2-8-0 #51 - Pacific Great Eastern Rwy
Title:  PGE 2-8-0 #51 - Pacific Great Eastern Rwy
Description:  Very difficult to find any info on this locomotive. This appears to be a builder's photo and the builder plate may be Montreal Locomotive Works. Unfortunately, the RRPA data base does not allow a 2-8-0 choice for MLW so it is listed under Alco as the builder. Thanks to Raymond Kennedy (see comment below) for his help in identifying the builder and listing the specs as a Montreal Locomotive Works Consolidation. Specs - serial #53709, built 10/1913, 57" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 19x28" cylinders and tractive effort of 30%. Very much appreciate the help, Raymond!
