Album Info:Fairly nice collection of Canadian National 2-6-0 Mogul steam locomotives. Unfortunately only one photo had the date and location listed.

Title:  CN 2-6-0 #822 - Canadian National
Description:  This 2-6-0 Mogul was built by the Grand Trunk Shops in 1904 as GTR #806. It was later renumbered GTR 1286 in 1910 and again to CN 822 in 1923. Specs - serial #1466, E-7-a class, 63" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x26" cylinders, engine weight of 177,688lb, tractive effort of 27,846 lb. The loco was retired in September of 1950 and scrapped. No photographer was listed for this photo.

Description:  Built by the Grand Trunk's own shops in 1904, this 2-6-0 Mogul started out as GTR #802 but was renumbered GTR #1282 in 1910 and again to CN #818 in 1923 when it landed on the CN roster. Specs - serial #1462, E-7-a class, 63" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x26" cylinders, engine weight of 177,688lb, tractive effort of 27,846 lb. The loco was retired in June of 1951 and scrapped. Description:  Nice example of a 2-6-0 Mogul locomotive built by the Grant Trunk shops in 1904 but looks like it might be sitting in the storage/scrap line now. This loco was originally GTR #1000 but renumbered in 1910 to GTR #1280 before becoming CN #816 in 1923. Description:  Sadly, it appears that this 2-6-0 Mogul has reached the end of the line as it sits in a scrap line. Built by the Grand Trunk Shops in 1904 some 45 years before, it originally carried the number GTR #817 but renumbered in 1910 to GTR 1297 and again in 1923 to CN #833 seen here. Specs - serial #1477, E-7-a class, 63" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x26" cylinders, engine weight of 177,688lb, tractive effort of 27,846 lb. The loc was retired in September of 1951 and scrapped. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo.

Description:  Caught by an unknown photographer, CN #859 sits stripped of its bell and light while it waits for the scrapper's torch. Starting out as GTR #783 after being built by the Canadian Locomotive Works in February of 1906, it was renumbered first to GTR 1322 in 1910 and again to CN 859 in 1923 when it officially joined the CN roster. Specs - serial #677, E-7-a class, 63" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x26" cylinders, engine weight of 177,688lb, tractive effort of 27,846 lb. It was retired in September of 1951 and scrapped. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo.

Title:  CN 2-6-0 #80 - Canadian National
Description:  This plucky little 2-6-0 Mogul was built by the Canadian Locomotive Company as GRR #1000 in 1910. It was subsequently renumbered CN "902 in 1923 and again in 1951 to CN #80 seen here. Specs - serial #913, E-10-1 class, 62" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 19x26" cylinders, engine weight of 141,800 lb, modest tractive effort of 22,795 lb. The loco was scrapped in August of 1957. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo but it appears to be the Montreal yard..
