Description:  CT-2 crosses Canal St in Shelton and about to pass under Bridge St. In the years since this was taken, CT-2 has been rerouted to the MN Danbury Branch, due in part to Housatonic not having any business down here, and also when Wooster St Crossing was closed here in Shelton, the crossing and tracks wer` removed at the road.

Description:  Looking east toward Derby Jct on the Maybrook Line in Newtown. This was once a double tracked line until 1961. In the woods to the left is the former Hartford, Providence & Fishkill Line from Newtown to Providence, RI. It passed under here in a tunnel. Seen from Parmalee Hill Rd.

Description:  Looking west at Parmalee Hill Rd in Hawleyville. The line was double tracked until 1961. This was the former westbound main. Off to the left down below the trees is the former HP&F line which passed under here in a tunnel. Further to the left is the original Maybrook Line tunnel.
