Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6967, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during December of 1926 and retired in June of 1959 after 33 years of faithful service. It's gaining speed with a westbound mixed-cargo freight train which has just been relieved of a disabled wooden reefer.
