This massive and powerful 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive was built by Baldwin in September of 1925 for the Atlantic Coast line. This was a heavy hauler of freight for the ACL and served for 27 years before being scrapped at Waycross, GA, in December of 1952 when diesels took over. Specs - serial #58649, Q-1 class, 63" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine wt of 391,980 lb impressive tractive effort of 81,600 lb.
