ELS 8020 was part of the consist of a CN through freight paralleling W. Butte des Morts Beach Rd. at Milepost 211 as it headed northeast via former C&NW rails at Stroebe, WI on 10 Sep. '17. Stroebe is a railroad station in Fox Crossing, WI (formerly Town of Menasha, Winnebago Co., WI until 14 Apr. '16 (not Outagamie Co., where Stroebe was erroneously placed on this site)). The former SOO rails, also in use by CN, run parallel on the other side of the train. |

| Description: |
ELS 8020 was part of the consist of a CN through freight headed north along Union St. past the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI on 6 Feb. '19. It appears to have sustained additional vandalism since the last time I photographed it. The area between the tracks and Union St., from Main St. to Monroe St. used to be the yard. I don't know when the current yard was built, but a map from 1909 shows the yard here. |
