something you don't see too often anymore-street running.

The good news is that there are still a few places in Oregon to catch street running on a regular basis; Salem, Albany and Junction City on the P&W's OE District; Hillsboro (Tillamook and Forest Grove Districts), Rainier (A-Line).

Ex-BNSF?

Christian: Yes, this is an ex-BNSF SW-1200. Originally Northern Pacific 177 built January 158, retained same number with BN, renumbered to 3529 in July 1998, sold to Western Rail in 2003. Unsure of its current whereabouts, I do not believe it is working for SP Newsprint anymore - with so little traffic they generate anymore and the fact that they are the only shipper in Newberg, P&W now just runs their train right into the mill.
