Everyday. Here is an original telephoto view that I took in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, in March of 1972. Shown here are several Penn Central Railroad cabin cars, poised for future use. The nearest one looks to be PC N-11E transfer caboose #18526. This was at a time when all local Yard Operations in Altoona had been transferred to Hollidaysburg. "Bald Hill" dominates the distance. Photo taken near the Yard Master's Office, at the eastern end of South Juniata Street. |
