| The Chattahoochee and Gulf passes over Main Street near the Dothan Civic Center. This is former Central of Georgia trackage that was built in the early 1900's as the....Chattahoochee and Gulf Railroad. Back from whence they came I guess you could say. Later the Central of Georgia sold this section to the Hartford and Slocomb who in turn sold to the Gulf and Ohio RR thus the photo we see today. (Hope I got all that right) |
