Even if its trailing. A C424 is in second place today, but will be leading tomorrows 557 west. It is about to pass under NY 17C in west Endicott. C424's were not uncommon on the 557/558 trains, but mostly it got an SD40/GP9 combination. Six axle MLW's were more commonly seen on the D&H going north, though they did appear on the Tier from time to time.
