AWP 2-6-0 #210 - Atlanta & West Point  Contributor's Pick!       
Here is an action shot of the 1912 Alco-Richmond built Mogul performing its swtiching duties in the Altanta yard on this day in 1950. Note the yard man riding in front, ready to jump to throw the next switch. According to SteamLocomotives.com this was the only Mogul on the West Point Route and was used for freight transfer and switching in the Atlanta area. Specifics - class B, 56" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 20x26" cylinders, engine weight 162,000 lb, tractive effort of 31,571 lb.From the O.W. Kimsey Jr collection.
