On the Cincinnatus Branch  Contributor's Pick!
Ive always found it interesting how many branch lines went off into the hills for short distances to serve small towns. One such line was the DLWs branch to Cincinnatus NY, about 15 miles east of Cortland. Though it was abandoned early-1940s-it had passenger trains. Youd think there would not be enough traffic to sustain it, but there, it was. There isnt much left now, just a couple of miles heading out toward Mc Graw, on which is located this Suit Kote plant, which we see being switched by GP 18 1800.
