Steamed up and ready for its next assignment is one of the Chicago Great Western shops rebuild of a fomer G-3 Consolidation. Larger 26" cylinder and thermic syphons were installed with an overall improved tractive effort of 54,700 lb. All Consolidations were retired between 1930-50. No photographer listed. The date and location are approximate since neither were given. |
