Photo Caption: "Alco RS-27 #2404, 2400-hp, at Chicago, Ill." Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2404, an AF-24 built by the American Locomotive Company in October of 1962 and rated at 2,400 HP. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Diesels On The Pennsylvania" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (819-36).
