iLocomotives. Here is an image that was taken in Kendallville, Indiana. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5711, a G-5S (4-6-0) "Ten-Wheeler" built in Juniata during September of 1924 and retired in August of 1949 after 25 years of faithful service. It's just crossed the tracks of the GR&I-NYC (LS&MS), an intersection monitored by "UK" Tower. Many thanks to Mr. Raymond Smith for identifying this location correctly. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded. |
