Heading through the famee Horseshoe Curve is this 1951 EMD F7A unit, #9764. The unknown photographer states on the back, "3 unit EMD headed by #9764 crawls up Horseshoe Curve. The train consisted of about 95 loads, with 2 unit Baldwin "Thousand Legger" "Snapper" on rear. Can anyone expain the pusher units used? Note the open door "air conditioning" on this lead unjt. |
