The Cal-P Line, officially the Union Pacific Martinez Subdivision, connects Oakland and Roseville, allowing trains to bypass Stockton. Amtraks Coast Starlight, California Zephyr, and Capitol Corridor also traverse this line. the line begins officially at CP 10th Street in UPs West Oakland Yard. The tracks traverse the coast of the North Bay, before crossing the water on the massive Benicia-Martinez Bridge, the second largest railroad bridge in North America. After crossing the straits, the line heads northeast. passing through Suisin City, Fairfield, Dixon, and Davis.
