With all the extra time I had I wasnt going to just shoot a trio of CSX Standard Cabs leading a road freight once in a fairly general location. So, I decided to keep up with them going north. I decided to at least grab them by the South Cairo CPLs then I would head back. However, a lesson learned, always check your camera settings. I severely overexposed every shot to a point that none of them were salvageable. So, now I had to try to get out ahead of it again. Despite the train being 800+ axles long, the EMDs on the head end made sure they hauled that train well, as it was going pretty close to track speed. After a little daredeviling I was able to get back out ahead of them shorty before South Ottawa and got them coming by the bracket and the dwarf for the IORY. |
