PRR 6027, D-16SB, 1918         
Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in August of 1918. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6027, a D-16SB (4-4-0) "American" built in Juniata as a D-16B in July of 1904, rebuilt as a D-16SB in July of 1916, and retired in December of 1930 after 26 years of faithful service. The names of the ladies and of the photographer, as well as the exact date and the location, are not recorded. ("LaurenGatsby"; #2 of 3)
