Description:
The Santa Fe shops took an early Baldwin built 2-6-0 and converted it to this 0-6-0 switcher in 1926. Note the huge backup light on the tail of the tender. Must have lit up the entire yard! Date and location are approximations. No photographer was listed.

Although no date or location was given for this photo, it appears that this 0-6-0 switcher may be nearing its end as it looks like it's sitting in a deadline. The plucky little switcher started out as a 1901 Baldwin built 2-6-0 only to be rebuilt by the Santa Fe shops into its current 0-6-0 configuration. L.A. Stuckey photo
