This unit shipped from GE on 10/14/55 (bldr #32391) and destined originally for the Bingham Utah Copper Mine which became part of the Kennecott Utah Copper Co later.It served until retirement in November of 1983. Original number was 804 but renumbered to 870 in November of 1955 and renumbered again to 770 in October, 1965. Specs - 750 VDC, 250,000 lbs operating weight, 57,700 lb tractive effort.
