Coming in for work |
Description: |
Most of the time, MEBU and BUME bypassed the yard at Binghamton using the&Buffalo Runner directly up to Bevier St. Every once in a while, theyd have to be switched, or the power changed. Such is the case today, as MEBU rolls into the yard for some attention. |

Doing it the hard way |
Description: |
BUME rolls across the Susquehanna with its NW GE long hood first, even with dual control, not the easiest way to run. |

Big switcher |
Description: |
In future years, it would not be a big deal to see a six axle unit working a yard. NS does it all the time. In 1989, it was something of a novelty. This NW GE is not exactly a yard engine. It will have a couple other units added once it gets its outbound train together. For now, its working the south end at Terrace Dr. |

Coming in for a power change |
Description: |
An MTPL empty coal train going back to the mines has arrived at East Binghamton and is pulling down to the south end. The power will cut off and go to the house. Later another set of power and new crew will take it to Buffalo. |
