Title:
PRR "Class 'D' Locomotives," Page 45, 1981
Description:
Here is page 45 of a 78-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "Those Amazing Class 'D' Locomotives." It was issued originally in June of 1981. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8527, a D-8A (4-4-0) "American" built by the Dennison Locomotive Works as PC&StL number "62" during 1887, renumbered PCC&StL "X1062" in April of 1902, renumbered PRR "8527" in June of 1904, and retired in November of 1914 after 27 years of faithful service. (5 February 2022: My first use of Mr. Robert Hess's "PRR Numerical Roster ~ Steam & Electric Locomotives.")
